See All Applications Running

Is it possible to have an application which when run displays all the applications running in the blackberry.They could be both foreground or background.

You can use CodeModuleManager class to retrieve all installed application.

At this case , Use ApplicationManager,ApplicationDescriptor classes

ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().getVisibleApplications() - gives you the array of ApplicationDescriptor[ ] of running apps. If you check the methods of ApplicationDescriptor class its having all the methods like getName()-for app name,getModuleName() for descriptor module name..etc.
