Hello,

I have JDE Version 4.2 and JDE Version 4.5 installed. The sign tool only works on JDE 4.5.

It used to work on JDE 4.2 aswell.

How can I make the sign tool work for both JDEs?

It would help to know what steps you're taking and what errors, if any, you're seeing.

The key database format changed with JDE 4.3 so if you copied your sig files from 4.5 to 4.2 and then tried to sign with the 4.2 SignatureTool that may fail.  You should just use the SignatureTool that came with 4.5 to do all of your signing.

If this isn't describing your environment then please provide some more information.

Ok I got it working; Reinstalled 4.2.1 and now it works again. Thank you.

Question: Can I use the 4.5 SignTool to sign .cod files that were compiled in 4.2?
