Signature tool problem, no one answer from RIM.

Hi,

I always signed my software with signature tool without problem,

since last night I started receiving the following error message when attempting to sign my code:

"The signature on the code signing request didn't verify.  The likely cause of this problem is entering an incorrect password."

I wrote to devsupport@rim.com

but no one answered my question.

Is there an email where to wrote and get an answer?

Re: Signature tool problem, no one answer from RIM.

I've not had this problem except where I had the key wrong.

Since I have jsut signed an application, I'm guessing there is no problem with the SIgning Servers, so I would confirm that you have the correct key.

Re: Signature tool problem, no one answer from RIM.

thanks for your reply.

I have the correct key but probably my license to sign is expired.

What is the correct email to ask for a solution of this problem?

Re: Signature tool problem, no one answer from RIM.

AFAIK, the signing licenses don't expire on time and you have 2,000,000,000 or so license requests.

But if you think it has expired, just spend the $20 and buy a new one!

Re: Signature tool problem, no one answer from RIM.

blackberry service is fallen really down,

no answer after ten days.

I'm losing money,

how can I buy a new signing possibility?

I bought my "signing authority" a lot of months ago and I don't remember how to buy a new one.
How much time is needed to get a new signature possibility?

Re: Signature tool problem, no one answer from RIM.

You could look round the web site or search the forum if you are in a hurry....

To save the Search:

http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev /codekeys.jsp

There is a tutorial about it and other signing options here:
