Tap and Hold using EventInjector

I support a test automation product that simulates touch screen events. I have a need to support TAP and HOLD on the touch screen but have not been successful in my attempts.

Using the following code the selection is activated and press but the hold action does not happen.

For example on the dial screen, press and hold on a number displays an assign a hot key message.

EventInjector.TouchEvent downEvent =

      new EventInjector.TouchEvent(TouchEvent.DOWN, x1, y1, x2, y2, -1);  //Touch the screen

EventInjector.TouchEvent clickEvent =

      new EventInjector.TouchEvent(TouchEvent.CLICK,  x1, y1, x2, y2, -1);  //Click the screen

Is it possible to perform tap and hold using EventInjector?

Any ideas on this?
