Hello All,

I am new to BB app development and was hoping that I can ask for some help on why the BarcodeScanDemo app will not run on a blackberry device.  

To my understanding, the project should load into the download folder and then I go the download folder and click it and it will run the program.  Right now nothing is showing up in the download folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit:  Forgot to mention that it will not load on my BB simulator either.   I am also running the BB environment via the eclipse plug so I am not sure if that makes a difference

try to sign it and load it again

i suggest you satart mwith simpler apps.  Try one of the built  in samples.

Also be aware thatt he download folder was really onlh appicablee to OS 5.0.  Becuase you are using likely to be using a later OS, just look for the icon on the Home screen.

Thanks for all your help!  For some reason the BarcodeScanDemo wasn't working but I got the other applications running. I then deleted the project and reloaded it and it worked again.  Thanks again!

Should come with your Eclipse install.  The JDE version of it is in github here I think:
