Types of BlackBerry applications?

Hello, kind of new to BB, still exploring.

Can someone tell me whether I am on the right track?

CLDC Application - that's essentially an equivalent of a .exe executable in Windows?  It seems like most examples that come with JDE are of this type.

MIDlet - I am confused on this one - seems like this is also an executable.  What exactly is the difference between MIDlet and CLDC Application?

Library - basically a DLL?  If I write a library, how do I then reference it by my CLDC application?  I don't see anyway to add a dependency in the JDE?

Thanks.

CLDC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connected_Limited_Device_Configuration
MIDlet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDlet
MIDlet is an extension of CLDC. RIM has its own extension of CLDC, instead of MIDlet you create a RIMlet.
In the JDE the CLDC application stands for this RIMlet-type that uses the native BB API.
If you want to develop for j2me in general use MIDlet, otherwise use CLDC.
See http://developers.sun.com/mobility/midp/articles/blackberrydev/ for more details.

you can add a library to your workspace by creating a new project and setting the type to library. in the properties of your main project you can now select "add dependency".
