USSD string

Hi,

I have a java applet in the sim which sends USSD string to the server.  When server sends back the response, blackberry curve shows the raw message  for example *107*hello#  first.  By pressing ok, actual message "hello" is shown.

Is there any settings in the phone to avoid showing the raw message first ?  Strangely this behviour is seen only in BB OS 6 onwards. In BB OS5, raw message is not shown.

Any help/suggestion in this reagard is greatly appreciated.  Thanks .

Re: USSD string

hi,

In your case, does it happen(USSD raw message comes first)  on BB OS 7 as well ?   I heard some have said there  could be some settings in the phone something like "Confirm messages to SIM" or "Confirm SIM service actions" or relevant settings could be the reason.

Do you think so ?
