UrbanAirship

Hi All,

   I want to implement "urbanairship" in my project for pushnotification.

   Please tell me how to implement it and what are required for implementing it.

don't they have their own support?
i don't know their solution and would not know how to help you with it.

BlackBerry is not supported but there are sample for older BB devices that you should be able to rework.  But I've not looked at it and to be frank would use the BB push mechanism in favor of this.

     I have downloaded  the OS5 sample code. But when it runs it give the following error:

    An internal error occurred during: "Packaging New_configuration".
    java.lang.NullPointerException

For me too.  I suggest you cntact Urban Airship for support. or just try adding the source to your own project.

Not sure who this was directed at, but I have told you all I know, and suggested the only things I can think of to get you going.

 

I would do both, so I would contact Urban Airship support, but in the meantime, I would move all the supplied source into my own project and see if that works.

We do support push notifications for native apps on BB10, OS5 and OS4.

I have run the project but Exception is "Invalid url parameter". Can you tell me BIS recharge is required for urbanairship?

Key.java file is given bellow:
