Hi all,

I work at an application that connects to a webservice through a VPN line. The problem is that i tested only in the simulator on my PC and I user Shrew Soft VPN Access Manager where I received a certificate from the customers for connecting to the webservice. How can I connect to the same webservice from the device ?

I don't know about the service you are talking about but on a device to setup a vpn profile you havo to go to Options->Security->Advanced Security Settings->VPN and create the profile from there. This is for os6.0

Well its the same I guess. Which device are you using? For bold 9000 i found this:

"go to options, security options and to VPN"

9500 storm. I don't find any vpn options.

Ok let me just make e few notes.

If you are connected to a BES or BIS network you are already in VPN.

The other way is to setup a VPN profile and to set it to an existing wi-fi connection. Blackberry Storm 9500 doesn't have wifi as far as I know.

What type of connection are you using?

I don't have BIS on this, only simple access to the internet through edge. How can I make a vpn profile ?
