Quote from the previous forums:
I have a class which only contains declaration of public static final int constants (they are more or less 850).
The constants are in the following form:
public static final int <Variable_name> = 12508;
If I run the application with this class on a BB Pearl everything is ok. If I run it on a BB 8700g I get a verification error.
The solution to get the app working also on a BB 8700g has been transform all the constants to only static without final declaration:
public static int <Variable_name> = 12508;
Does anyone have idea about this problem?

I'm trying to use ksoap2 to work with a web service. A lot of the code in the ksoap2 library contains the final keyword.
Is the final keyword just totally not supported? I get the verification error with no good exception to tell me why or what caused it.
Are there any other known causes for this?
