We have SIP Client for the BB and we are adding voice recording on it. As matter of fact. It is quite easy to merge the in audio and out audio and write it out to a file.

What do you mean when you say that there are services that forward a phone call through another servce....Could u Be more explanatory...how

Wow. Did know this thread is still alive. Sorry guys. Haven't check for a long while, busy porting BlackVoib (BlackVoib.com) to BB10 and Android for Mobile VoIP. 

Call recording on BB is not possible unless the call is placed through a VoIP softphone running on the BB. The softphone can merge the in/out audio streams. Another way to do call recording in the BB is with the help of a voice server. When you need to record the call, you transfer the call to a recording server and then join the original party in a conference in the recording server. The recording is done on the server itself.

What do u actually mean by Sip client could you explain
