i have been using netbeans for my java coding and have just started with eclipse. I am new to this development environment and want the perfect IDE for blackberry's app development.

Its all upto the technologies which you are using for the development.
If you are going with Web Development then i would suggest ECLIPSE is the best option.

Eclipse has various versions tho, i am a little confused about it. Which one shud i go for??

Go for Eclipse Classic and then import all the necessary plugin to work on

I would download the full installer, install it, and then any configuration you need to do is done.  Just update with the jre levels you want to use.
