So I bought the signing keys from RIM, so that I could use the protected APIs. That was weak, but whatever (no other major mobile manufacturer makes you do this). I registered the keys on my dev laptop and all was good.
However, the other day I needed to develop on another box and keys simply wouldn't register. I emailed RIM and they told me that I needed to buy another set of keys for the other PC.
I understand RIM wants to make a buck as much as the next guy, but do they really need to stick it to the people who are promoting their platform? Besides, I already paid for the keys, it's not like I am stealing them.
Rant of the day. Thanks for listening.

You can just copy the sigtool.* files from the jde/bin directory on the original machine to the same directory on the other machine. No need to re-register anything.
