What resolution should I use for image in my application (96dpi vs 72 dpi)?

will there be a noticeable difference if I use 72dpi vs 96dpi?

if I use 72 dpi, ill the image scale down ~30% so that it is properly displayed pixel by pixel on a 96dpi screen?

I recommend using the Plazmic CDK to optimize images for the BlackBerry.  You can import your image into a project that matches your image resolution and then export the image as a PNG for use by the BlackBerry.

The Plazmic CDK can be downloaded here:  http://www.plazmic.com/en/download/index.shtml
