I want to draw some slanting text on a custom button thingie, the slant isn't really all that big, just a few degrees, 20 at most. I poked around and saw a TextMetrics class for OS 6 which isn't really descriptive, and on top of that it's just OS 6 and above; I want to be able to do it on OS 5 if possible.

Any leads on how I can go about it?

Did you search the forum? I know I have contributed on this topic, and others have as well.

Search for "affine transform" and you should pick up a few of these old threads.
