I have been struggling to download anything from the blackberry.com/developer website. Once I choose something to download, it takes me to a page that displays information such as the filename, size, and a Download button. When I click the download button it takes me to a blank screen. The blank screen has the blackberry.com header and left menu, but the content area is blank. When you view the HTML source you can see text such as "General error page".
I've tried this on IE 6, 7, 8, Firefox 2, 3.1 beta, 3.5, Safari 4, and Google Chrome, on Windows XP, Windows 7, and OpenSolaris 2009 06.
I think it has only worked for me twice over the last few months, and I never figured out what was different. I contacted BlackBerry support to let them know about the problem, and they told me to buy a support contract if I want help!!!! Obviously they did not pass this information along to the peopel who maintain the website.
Here is an example:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev
Click the following link on that page:
Download the BlackBerry Email and MDS Services Simulator Package v4.1.4
If you are not logged in, then it will ask you to log in. Then it will take you to a screen that shows the filename, size, and a Download button. Click that button, and you get a blank page. Nothing is downloaded, and I can't do my job because of that.

I've seen BlackBerry staff on these forums, so I'm hoping one will see this post and will pass it along to the right people. The problem can't be just me. I've tried from six computers in two cities, on different Internet providers.
Thanks,
Ryan

I just tried with FireFox 3.5, Chrome 4, and IE8 on Windows 7. Same problem, after I click the "Download" button it takes me to esentially a blank screen and nothing is downloaded. If you can't reproduce the problem, then maybe it is a problem with my user account. When I log-in my account is ryan@ijws.com

I get this sometimes as well. Hit back and re-click a few times. It should work eventually. If that fails, try clearing your cache and re-clicking. If THAT fails, I'm afraid I can't help you.

Yes it works for me now!! I tried in three browsers over two computers. What is different? These are the same browsers and computers that I could not get it to work with before.
Thanks,
Ryan
