I've got an application on the desktop that doesn't show up under options->advanced options-> applications
and I need to delete it because attempts to load a new version fail due to duplicate class definitions.
What is the easiest way to do this , pref without attaching to a computer since I don't have utilities
installed.
Thanks.

Try
Options-->Advanced-->Applications-->Modules and remove the modules associated with the application.
Any idea how the app was installed? Presumably javaloader, which you should also be able to use to remove it. I believe Javaloader is a standalone application, so if you can pinch a copy from somewhere, you will be able to use it.
Hope this helps.

thanks- I didn't know about the module option that cleared up a lot of junk ![]()
It is rebooting now but the usual suspects were listed and I deleted them.
All of these were deleted from clicking on a JAD link. I routinely test on the phone and forgot I had
an instance running when updating and I think this is when it happens.
no spurious icons, trying to download now...
seems to run ok .
thanks./
