differentiate between SIM not found, and SIM invalid

Hi,

I want to differentiate between 3 scenarios:

1. SIM not found

2. SIM is present but SIM card PIN code request is 'ON'.

3. SIM card is bad, invalid, not in working condition.

All I know is that we can use SIMCardInfo.getIMSI(), which throws SIMCardException, in all the these 3 cases. How can I differentiate between these?

Re: differentiate between SIM not found, and SIM invalid

The SIMCardInfo class is the only class to interact with the device SIM card. If you could provide a valid business case for needing to determine SIM card state then please submit a new feature request into Issue Tracker:
