h264 video on 4.6?

The Blackberry specs say that h264 should be supported on 4.5 and up, but no matter what different encoding levels I try, I cannot get any of my h264 transcoded videos to play in the simulator. I have tried with 4.5 & 4.6, and for both of them, I only get audio.

I was wondering if anyone had a sample h264 video which i could take a look at to figure out the right encoding to use. Or if anyone had some clearer specs.

Thanks!

Re: h264 video on 4.6?

Are you trying to load the videos via the browser, play them directly in the media player or play them from within your application?  What BlackBerry model and handheld software version are you simulating?  This can be found under Options, About in the simulator.  Are you able to play the videos on your PC?  What version of DirectX do you have installed?

Can you provide a link to an example video?

Re: h264 video on 4.6?

It seems that the codecs for the simulator have not been licensed. I am will test on the bold soon, and see if that solves it.
