how to get second key character for 8100 (pearl)

hi all

 

can i get the second key event for 8100 in keychar() function  i tried it but i get the first character event only

The first character is always passed in on a SureType BlackBerry.  It is up to your application to choose the appropriate letter.  For example, you could capture the second key if the user presses the same key in rapid success (like double tap).  You can use the Keypad class to determine the type of keyboard the BlackBerry has.
