how to invoke blackberry internal application in back ground

Hi,

   I have requirement to set the calender date and time in Blackberry  internal calender application.

I am able do it using

Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.

APP_TYPE_CALENDAR, new CalendarArguments(CalendarArguments.ARG_NEW, calender));

But I want dont want application to be launched in foreground, rather  may be it should get launched in background and set the date and time.

or

Is there any other solution by  which I can set the date and time on Blackberry calender internal application by my application, without making the user to see blackberry calender internal applicaiton UI.

Re: how to invoke blackberry internal application in back ground

What date are you trying to change?  The system date of the BlackBerry smartphone?  There is no API to do that directly.  If you wish to change the date of an appointment in the calendar application you can do so using the PIM APIs.  You can see an example of their use here:
