Re: how to pass string from one application to another

The one and only way to communicate between two processes is runtime store,

And coming to your situation

"  I want to pass string from one application to another. the application which will be receiving the string should receive it without launching the application. any idea how to do it."

Before launching you have to read from runtime store.

Thanks.

Re: how to pass string from one application to another

In addition to RuntimeStore, and Global Events, you can use PersistentStore to share data between Applications.  You could also use the SD card.

But I'm really not sure about this requirement:

"receive it without launching the application"

If the Application is not started, then what is going to process the String?

I think we need a better idea of what you are trying to do before we advise you of the best way to do it.
