how to relate the blackberry folder with desktop outlook

Is there any way like id etc, which is visible to bothe side (handheld as well as desktop) so that I can relate the folders in the outlook and the folders visible on the blackberry.

The BlackBerry API set does not expose any unique ID value that is present on both the BlackBerry Smartphone and mail server other than the name and path of the folder itself.
