There are a number of different DMP files of course generated by BB Simulator. My focus at this time is on the SD Card itself.
Steps I have taken :
in simulator...
1) Simulate -> Change SD Card..
2) Add File -> specify location (generated file temp-sdcard.dmp)
As noted in another post...install WinImage (winma81.exe) as it was confirmed this version worked.
1) File -> Open -> specify location of .dmp file - failed : Error Reading
2) Mount Image -> failed as well
How do you open the dmp file to view contents? Ideally I would like to create a DB through SQLite in Windows, then copy it to the BB Simulator. Then copy it back out of the Simulator so I can view the data in Windows.
Any other suggestions would be gladly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

To answer my own question - why not just 'Add Folder' using the simulator instead of file, this will allow you to view the objects on your file system - therefore not needing to move files out of the dump file.
My apologizes

Welcome. ![]()
I think using the directory is an excellent option and one that I use when testing SD Card related applications!
Can you mark this Thread as solved?
