Re: is it possible not to show certificate using ssl?

i signed my application. but maybe there is a better sign which will always trust ssl and no certificate will be shown during the connection? or maybe i can do it programatically somehow?

Signing an application has not affect on how a BlackBerry handheld trusts certificates when making a connection.  You can programmatically install a certificate, however the user still needs to mark the certificate as trusted.

Users can also install the certificate using the BlackBerry Browser (browse to it) or using the Certificate Sync tool of Desktop Manager (requires the certificate be installed on their PC).
