need to know when repaint occurs system wide

hi,

 

any way to know when a change has occurred on the bb screen regardless of foreground application?

i don't know of any events or listeners for that.

we take screenshots and check if they are different from the one before (for our remote control software).

I am also comparing screenshots but this requires a thread to constantly capture screen and compare with previous image when being notified would be so much more efficient.
