Accepted Solution

net.rim.device.api.database.DatabaseIOException: File system error (12)

URI DB_URI = URI.create(DBPath);

if(sqliteDb != null)
CloseSqliteDBConnection();
sqliteDb = DatabaseFactory.openOrCreate(DB_URI);

This is giving exception.

Please give me solution to solve it out.

Re: net.rim.device.api.database.DatabaseIOException: File system error (12)

Don't think it is possible given the informaiton we have.

What is the Exception?  Which line is throwing the exception?  Have you confirmed that the database is on device and accessible (can you find it using the File application)?  Is the URL you are using for the database correct?  How did you create the database?  Have you run the SQL demo application and does it work?

Re: net.rim.device.api.database.DatabaseIOException: File system error (12)

I got the solution for this.

It is happening because I was trying to open a new Read-write DB connection without closing previous one. SO it is generating this error. We can open only one Read-write DB connection while can open multiple readOnly Connections at a time

I am closing DB connection after all DB transactions in finally block.

Please press like, if you find your solution orlet me know, if having any query.
