Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

I'm in a similar situation as diegotori -- Is anyone planning on continuing to use the old version of the FB SDK ? I haven't read the release notes for the new version so I'm not sure if there are changes on the FB side of things that make the old one completely obsolete.

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

the previous fb sdk version didn't have support of OAuth 2.0 though it had been noted in release note. (at least i was not able to use oauth 2.0 flow). The new one does have it and is consisten with current REST api used in facebook. Old sdk used also deprecated API which will be stopped supporting at some point.

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

guys, could anyone tell me how to force user to do login again. So far it seems that after you are done with fb authentication and want to make new login process (enter new credentials for example) browserfield will use the previous tokens  and won't display you the login dialog.

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

Thanks for your great advice, pwerry!

Will add the NAVIGATION_MODE_POINTER to it right away in the next minor release.

You are correct about the viewport thing, and I'm not aware of any solution right now... maybe you have to stick with MainScreen rather than PopupScreen at the moment.

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

I have figured it out. Just need to use login/logout actions properly.

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

Changes in 0.3.5:

- Changed to BrowserFieldConfig.NAVIGATION_MODE_POINTER in LoginScreen.

- Fixed a bug in LogoutScreen which causes 6.0 devices not being able to logout.

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

Is there any command to Logout of Facebook?

When I call the LoginScreen, the data are recorded and all I want is to delete it and enter a New User....

Thanks!

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

When u exit the app, you can choose to:

Exit = Exit the app without logging out fb

Logout & Exit = Exit the app and logout fb

Re: new Facebook BlackBerry SDK 0.3.1 is out.

What I do to Logout of Facebook is only this:

        PersistentObject store = PersistentStore.getPersistentObject(persistentObjectId);

synchronized (store) { store.setContents(null); store.commit(); }

Do I have something more to Logout of Facebook without having to call LogoutScreen?

Thanks!
