i have eclipse 3.4 and installed jde 4.5 with plugin installation. now i need other jdes (4.3, 4.6, 4.7 etc...)
when i want to install from software update it lists avaiable jdes (a few days ago, it was not listing). i selects jde4.6 to install, it tries to install and a few minutes later it gives one of this error shown below. ![]()
i installed rim ide, oh my good, it too primitive and dummy ide i have ever seen.
i really dont understand why rim makes life so painfull for developers.
many links do not work, many articles not work etc... any basic step can be very painfull.
i have problems since weeks and i think will not stand for this senseless and painful period.

Since you are using Eclipse 3.4 I assume you have attempted to install version 1.0 of the BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse. This version is a couple of years old and has been removed from our update site.
Please make use of version 1.1.x (with Eclipse 3.5), which can be downloaded here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev
