"Change Language" causes exception?

As title, any one have idea about it? Or can I hide this item in my menu?

Thanks!

Re: "Change Language" causes exception?

That's strange that "Change language" menu item leads to an exception. It is a system field context menu item.

If you do not want to display context menu items override makeMenu() method of the screen you are working on.

And add only menu items you want to be added.

Re: "Change Language" causes exception?

This exception is caused by an issue with the BlackBerry handheld software, not with your applicaiton.

It has been fixed in BlackBerry handheld software version 4.2.0.

Re: "Change Language" causes exception?

The JDE I'm using is 4.1.

And I have already overrided the makeMenu method, in my 8700, 8707 devices and Simulator, it works well, no system menu items, such as "change language" or "close"

However, "change language" appears in 8700r simulator, while system item "close" dose not appear.

It's so strange....
