Hi, 

I am using the requestStorageMode() ( http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.7.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/Device.html#requestStor...() ) method to request the storage mode of an SD card. 

Problem: as soon as I call that method the device reboots.

I tried it on several devices (8700, 8800, 83xx, 8900, bold, storm) - everywhere the same behavior. I also tried to invoke that method in different threads and so on ... it just reboots the device.  

Any thoughts?

LOL, I had a 7130 on which any call to Graphics.fillEllipse was  reboot but never got any luck.

The funny thing, the reboot seems to happen on all devices. So either I am using the method in a wrong way ...  or there is something really wrong with the BB API (which I doubt).

Perhaps some RIM staff knows the answer to my question?

I have been able to reproduce this issue and have sent it to our development team.  I do not have a workaround to provide at this time.
