setting default background color for entire app

Hi folks

I'm running on OS v5.0 and testing on a a Bold and a Curve.

I've got a shade of blue I want to use as the background for every single field in my app - except for those on one screen.

Does this have to set on every single field of used in the app or is there a way to set it once for the entire app?

If I can set it for the entire app, is there a way for me to override it in the one place I was a white background?

Please use plain text.

Re: setting default background color for entire app

I am not aware of a way to do this for your entire app.  Instead I would set it as the background for all the screens, i.e. once per screen.

Use the Background class to do this.

as peter_strange
say u can  make parentScreen Class extend the MainScreen
and set the background
and then extend the parentScreen in all your next screen
