unable to set icon for my application

Hello everyone, I tried to create my app icon according to this link with Blackberry Java Plugin for Eclipse. But I can't find "Use as Application Icon" when I right click my image file. Can somebody help me set icon for my application? Thanks.

Re: unable to set icon for my application

the article refers to the JDE, which is the legacy environment.
in eclipse you set the icon in your application descriptor file.

[ Edited ]

Thanks for replying. I'm unable to do so with the Application Descriptor. I added a png file to my project and then selected it. But it still shows that command prompt like symbol for my application, when I open it in my simulator. Please guide me the way to do this. Thanks.

Re: unable to set icon for my application

Can you describe the steps you have gone through to try to set this?

The first step will be to open the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml.

Re: unable to set icon for my application

Yes sure.

1. I copy pasted an image file to be used as my Icon for the application, 52x52 in size, in the res/ folder of my Blackberry Project.

2. I opened the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml File in Text editor and set IsFocus to "true" as follows:

<Icons>
<Icon CanonicalFileName="res/images52x52.png" IsFocus="true"/>
</Icons>

Now, I signed my Application and tried to run it. But it still showed me the default icon for my application.

Re: unable to set icon for my application

you can use the built-in editor in eclipse to have a graphical interface.
just to clear up your confusion:
you can set a focus (rollover) image which is indicated by the setFocus=true. If you do that you have to specify a "normal" image as well, of course.
