10.2 Beta GeoPolyline problems.

Has anyone gotten the GeoPolyline or GeoPolygon classes to work with MapView, or is there any sample code?

I've been trying to display a line between to marker pins. The marker pins show up on the MapView but the GeoPolyline doesn't.

Just speculation but I think they implemented the data types and handling API, but haven't implemented the OpenGL coding in the render engines yet.

Agree with you.

but does it mean, I should implement render engine instead of the default one, and add OpenGL native code to draw shapes.

Re: 10.2 Beta GeoPolyline problems.

Not what I'd recommend. What I'm going to do is implement it as much as I can without actually seing the results. It should all be coded by the time the Gold comes out. They may even drop an updated beta before then.

Now, if you know how to implement a compatable render engin, then you're way ahead of me and don't need my advice.

[ Edited ]

I don't mean that, but I think I can have a try.

Actually, in these days, I am learning and searching about render engine and OpenGL ES.

I think it's not so difficult to implement a simple render engine just for drawing polyline and polygon.

I will update you if any proceed.

Whatever thank you for let me know it.
