Access to Cascades source images

I'm working on Cascades-like QML components for pure QtQuick, but got some troubles with source images. So, it was easy to screenshot Button, but there's no easy way to copy ActivityIndicator or DropDown. Is there any way to get original Cascades images? I understand QtCascades lib isn't open source, but anyway...

Re: Access to Cascades source images

Thanks for your support :smileyhappy: I think everyone will benefit from having more options to develop apps using Cascades UI concept. But, I am still waiting for a reply from RIM...

Re: Access to Cascades source images

Personally I think that should be the road they should take... QtQuick is way ahead of anything today. Just using QML (the language)  isn't enough. The bases of QtQuick is so powerfull and I haven't seen any other framework that can do the same with such little effort, especially when you add some default components on top such as buttons, pickers, etc

Re: Access to Cascades source images

Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot access Cascades source images for use outside of the framework.
You can post a feature requets in the Issue Tracker by following the link below:

Re: Access to Cascades source images

Sorry for hijacking this thread, just a short question: Are you building a complete new set of components or are you building upon existing ones e.g. Symbian or MeeGo components?

Re: Access to Cascades source images

For now I have very basic pure QML+JS components like Button, DropDown, Label. Without any C++ code or decencies on existing qt-components.

Re: Access to Cascades source images

Alright thanks! I've asked because I'm currently looking at ways to make Symbian or MeeGo components look and feel more like cascades.
