Anything similar to Android's SharedPreferences in the NDK?

See http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/data/data-storage.html#pref

Android provides a nice and quick way to persist simple data. What is the recommended way to do this in the NDK e.g. I want to show an intro help screen the first time the user runs the app, but not any other time.

If you're using Qt, there is QSettings class.
