App can no longer register with BBM after update to Gold

Used the BBM example to register update, profile and invite. Worled with Beta 3 and  displayed message in my app.

Worked in Beta 4 but for some reason message never displayed.

 

But with Gold, message returned is "unregistered" and my pages to update BBM profile and invite contain blank data fields as no context is returned to access the BBM profile.

 

Were there some changes made that I need to add to my code?

 

Has functionality been removed? If so how would I update profile box?

not sure if they are related or not....haven't actually done deep integration with bbm yet!

In Beta 4, the BBM application is launching and connecting.

InGold, it always prompts me that there has been a trouble to reach the server (yes, I have checked internet connection). It seems BBM is broken in Gold

Did you read the blog post above? If you do a search in the foruma, you will see several posts by Mark Sohm mentionnning the changes to BBM in gold release.

Yes but I am not talking about a BBM connected application, I am talking about the embbedded BBM application provided by RIM on the phone. This one is not working for me since Gold.

It's probably your blackberry id...try rebooting your device or else do a security wipe (this will delete everything)

I have done a wipe reset and tried with a different blackberry ID to no avail

What is the exact error or behaviour you see when you try to open BBM?

Are you using the BlackBerry ID you used on your BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha on any other BlackBerry Smartphones?

 

If not, verify that you are logged into BlackBerry ID by going to Settings -> BlackBerry ID.
