Audio Support

Is there audio support in BB10 NDK for internally generated audio files (midi, byte arrarys) similar to tone player on BB? Or, an API that can be imported into NDK?

Re: Audio Support

I think he's interested in support for MIDI.

Re: Audio Support

No actually it doesn't help and that is why I posted this message. I'm not trying to play external files but pass a byte array generated inside tha application in a midi or other format as is currently done on the BB in I believe three different ways none of which appear to be supported as yet on the BB10.

Re: Audio Support

A PCM byte array?  That can be done.

MIDI?  You probably need a library for that.  I don't believe we have one on the platform.

Try searching around for a free MIDI to PCM conversion library that you can compile and use.  If it works for you, consider publishing a port to github for other BB10 developers to use! :smileyhappy:

Cheers,
