BBM 10 Cascades API for sending message required..

Hi ,

Can anyone please tell me is there any api in cascades development which we can use to send message to a BBM contact.

Anthing apart from BBM invocation framework because in Invocation framework u cant send message to a aprticular contact .

My requirement is:-  Sending message to a BBM contact and before sending message appending a header to it and on the same side at receiver's site removing the header and then displaying the message to the receiver.

Please reply.

Thanks & Regards,

Tushar

There isn't an API that would fulfill that requirement.  The only method is invocation, which opens a BBM chat window with a message ready to send.

Hi Mark,

Can we introduce some changes on BBM chat screen which would append chars to text everytime before sending and correspondingly remove those chars on recivers side.

The point is changing inbuilt chat application which runs using BBM on blackberry 10 simulator.

Thanks & Regards,

Currently no, this would not be possible.
