BBM UUID Question

So, during development, a BBM-integrated application a generated UUID must be supplied.

What happens when the app is up on BlackBerry World? I recall reading something or other about "every app being supplied with its own UUID".

Can someone in the know comment on what's actually required in this process?

Re: BBM UUID Question

You need UUID, if your app not implemented BBM-integrated, just add the UUID

You can generate one here: http://www.guidgenerator.com/

And use it for your app UUID

Re: BBM UUID Question

The UUID you put in your app is not used when the app is installed from BlackBerry World. It's for your local testing purposes only. When the app is installed properly, it seems the BBM service basically generates the necessary info internally for your app, but it's all transparent and ignorable by the dev.
