BlackBerry Action Menu Help

Dears ,

 

I'm trying to develop app that use BlackBery Menu.

 

check below images

what i need to do is :

 

1 - Remove More in the bar button ( from the first image ) and open the menu only using swipe.

 

2 - Open the menu from the right not from left 

 

3 - Remove setting icon from the action item .

 

Please Advice me .

Users are going to expect the overflow menu to be on the right, and to be accessible with the more button. I wouldn't advise changing it. It's a lot of work for you to create a worse user experience. What's the point?

 

Anyway, I notice those action items are all called Tab X. Are you trying to make tabs? Those will overflow onto the left side.

Just as Paul said having a UI the opposite of what people expect isn't ideal however if you really wanted to do it, you can use my custom UI that mimics the tab pane posted here: http://crackberry.com/weekend-coder-mimic-cascades-layouts-custom-elements (and there is a github link to a sample in that article). And just have everything opposite, as I have it defined. As you can see it is quite a bit of code.
