This currently isn't supported, but we are working on a plugin for MS Visual Studio that will initially allow you to:
- Ability to create a BlackBerry Solution Platform for a Win32 project that will allow the user to compile against the NDK.
- Ability to register signing keys for BlackBerry development.
- Ability to deploy/run applications on device and simulator.
- Ability to debug applications on device and simulator.
An early version of this was shown at GDC.

Hi,
Is there any progress on the Visual Studio plugin ?
Maybe there is some kind of beta we could use?
I got from RIM, PlayBook and now Dev Alpha device, and I would really
like to port one of my games to them but for now it is impossible because
of lacking tools.
To port some game, now I need to first create from scratch new solution
for my engine in provided IDE, then do the same for each game I want to
port. Then I need to maintan that double solutions the basically are based
on one source base.
So, in conclusion, from the game developer perspective this is really
essential feature to have. Currently my Dev Alpha is just lying on the
shelf and collecting dust ![]()
Thanks,
Karol

Yes, it is still being working on. I don't have any additional information I can share on it right now though.
