Hi
I received an email from "BlackBerry Network Administrator"
First I was not sure this email really come from RIM because the url to access on the email it's:
http://developer.blackberry.com/native
But we check the real link it's:
http://lyrislist/t/88147/6048953/871/0/u=aHR0cDovL
I didn't click on the link and I cut/paste http://developer.blackberry.com/native on my browser. For Mac It install the application "Akamai NetSession Interface". What is that???? It's not the SDK!!!
A second time I reopen my browser on the url http://developer.blackberry.com/native and It accept to download the SDK (It's like Akamai NetSession Interface was just a tool to download the SDK).
After a few minutes I was the message:
An error occurred while processing your request.
Reference #50.c15ef648.1320254080.9efd4d54
Each time I download the SDK it's crash with same type of message!
I have a very bad user experience: The email that I received it's very strange and could be detect as a spoof url, I was obliged to click 1 to install Akamai NetSession (is it really need it!!!), and 2 to download the SDK for finally have a crash at the end!
Complex and not fonctional process, I was expected more from RIM!

Sounds like you registered a couple of weeks ago for for the beta 2.0 Playbook software.
If you don't want it, don't install or download it. ![]()
It's not a spoof URL, but I am not surprised that your MAC can't install it.

Just right click the blue download box and save the zip file to your downloads. I used Chrome on Mac Lion
