Configure FFMPEG for build

Hi, which flags should I use to configure FFMPEG for QNX build?
I am using windows 7. I have installed MSYS/MinGW and latest version of ffmpeg.

I need shared libs.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Are you an end user? If so, can you perhaps explain your question better...for I cannot figure out at all what your issues are.

Or, are you perhaps a Developer? If so, then please state so and we'll ask the mods to move this to the DEV section of this site.

Thanks and let us know!

Re: Configure FFMPEG for build

Hi,

I am a developer. I have difficulties with ffmpeg lib. particularly with it's building for qnx. My question is for developers. I want to know how to configure ffmpeg before building it.

[ Edited ]

There are several existing threads regarding building ffmpeg for qnx.

Read this one for start:

FFmpeg compile

There is also Martin Reeds libffbb which is using ffmpeg and it is precompiled on github:

https://github.com/MartinMReed/libffbb

And example how to use this lib:

Re: Configure FFMPEG for build

thread doesn't helped. it gave error while configuring
arm-unknown-nto-qnx6.5.0eabi-gcc is unable to create an executable file.
C compiler test failed.
samples in github contain old version of ffmpeg 0.11.1 version. I need to compile version 2.

Re: Configure FFMPEG for build

That was sample how to build ffmpeg for playbook, it was os 2.0.

Look inside your bbndk folder->host(version)->win32(if compiling from windows, otherwise linux)->x86-usr->bin

and look for version of your c++ compiler, it is not 6.5, it is probably 8.0
