Accepted Solution

Customize Navigation Pane

I need to customise the navigation pane, where in, on the bottom bar, where the back navigation button is displayed, i want to display a text field beside that back navigation button.

Is that feasible? or any work arounds that i could look at?!

Please use plain text.

Is not possible with native actionBar, but you could make your own using

Container (with DockLayout) as root object

ImageButton for buttons

and

ImagePaintDefinition for use custom background image or....

EDIT:

I need to edit my answer. Is possible to make your own ActionBar and hide the Native, but isn't recomend you :-(

I think better way will be if you make your own Title header with centered text field and replace the native TitleBar. You can use same components which I refered earlier :smileywink:

webbrowser?

the description is similar to the nav bar found in the BlackBerry Browser, and also another case of pixel guideline usefulness since this is a controll not provided to us

Re: Customize Navigation Pane

:Offtopic:

just noticed on crackberry today that if you hold down the back button in the native browser on 10.2 it pops up a mini history, pretty neat feature that I likely would never have stumbled upon myself
