Deployment failed Error

Hi Guys,

while running the application every now and then i am getting the following error

Deployment Failed: Info: Sending request: Install and Launch
Info: Action: Install and Launch
Info: Debug native: on
Info: File size: 219574
Info: Installing com.example.DemoApp.testDev_ple_DemoAppbab3022d...
Info: Processing 219574 bytes

I cannot figure out what could be the reason for this problem?

Re: Deployment failed Error

After restarting IDE,i build the project again, eventhough it shows "Could not find qmake configuration directoryCould not find qmake configuration fileUsing OS scope before setting MAKEFILE_GENERATOR",it  was built successfully and i was able to check simple hello world app in simulator.

Re: Deployment failed Error

I get the same error but with the Playbook NDK 2.0.1 and the simulator on Windows. I am using VM Player 4.0.3 (I think).

I cannot get the BB10 simulator to even load on Linux. BTW. It stays on the splash screen forever.

Re: Deployment failed Error

I have discovered that this error appears when you try to deploy a newly rebuild app. After you run the app and if you immediatly click on VMWares'  window, so that it captures the mouse, then the deployment succeeds.

Re: Deployment failed Error

[ Edited ]

I don't have a solution but I do know that this is caused by this line in the Makefile in the project root:

$(MAKE) -C ./translations -f Makefile update release

If you comment it out you no longer get the error. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Re: Deployment failed Error

I know this is old, but why is there no solution posted? I have the same problem. When I search for a fix, I get all these unanswered posts.

Re: Deployment failed Error

If you install SDK and have that error its maybe because your user name in windows contain cyrrilic or non-english letters.

If its true make new windows user with only english characters in name.
Login as new user and try install SDK (admins pprevilegies needed) and try to using.

Hopes this help! Because I use it and no have problems!
