Deployment setup wizard issue

I've done everything up to the stage where I input the IP from the simulator but it returns the following error:

 

"Cannot connect: Connect to /192.168.xxx.xxx:443 timed out. Please check IP address settings for the target. You may have to reboot the target."

 

 

NB: I have tried rebooting, but that didnt work.

Can you ping your simulator from a console?
What are your vmware network settings?

I dont know how to ping from a console, and I'm not sure how to respond to your question about network settings. I havent altered them, and I've tried using the browser in the simulator and it works.

 

EDIT: Tried pinging, timed out several times and finally returned an error. Sent 4 packages, lost  all of them, recieved none.

What you can try to do is change your network settings of your vmware to use a bridged network instead of NAT.
Shutdown the simulator and then locate the settings option. Under network settings select bridged. Resart the simulator.
