Dev Alpha: Password problem after update

I was finally able to update to the latest Dev Alpha release. Now I have a problem: as soon as there is on the lock screen. To unlock, it asks for my password. The password entered before the upgrade, it is simply "a". But now when I use it to unlock, it continues to ask for it but the counter does not advance bad password. Advances only if I put really incorrect. Now, as I noted in the simulator, that the inclusion of a new password will not accept a short word, such as "a", but at least 5 characters long. Could this be the reason? And if so, now how do I change it?

Try typing the wrong password 10 times. The device should do a security wipe. Then you can set a new password.

I think it is already unusable. So it cannot become worse.

 

After the security wipe you can still reinstall the OS if the device should not work. But usually a security wipe only deletes the apps, personal data and settings. The OS should be left untouched.
