Hi,
My Dev alpha A got bricked when I tried to do a security wipe to change the BBID associated with the device.
Is there some way I can re-install the OS on the device.
My development machine is a Mac.
Thanks,

Yes, it is possible to recover the device on Mac, but it's not simple. You need Blackberry Desktop Software for Mac. Turn off the DevAlpha device. Plug-in the USB cable. As soon as you get the communication error prompt, press the "repair" button. You need to do it quickly to start the repair process before the OS starts-up. You may have to repeat the process multiple times or unplug the device and plug again when the prompt is shown.

I do not see any repair button either on the blackberry desktop software or the device.

I upgraded to desktop version 2.4. And I was able to see the repair button on desktop manager.
Everytime I click on "Repair", it just says "Checking for software for Playbook" and then comes back with the error "Unable to connect to your device".
