Give it a try. The download seems available for Win, Linux and Mac. Selected "Different OS? Customize your download here." on the Native SDK download pages for BB10 and PlayBook.

Yes its supported and works fine. Its Eclipse based, so its just JAVA and runs on all platforms. Plus its for C++ which is better on *nix anyways.

Hi there!

Absolutely - I use Momentics on a Mac myself, you just need the download the OS X version from the SDK's download page;
